Who is she? Lena Posner, 21, New Brunswick, NJ

What makes her REALLY hot? Lena Posner is a national organizer for the Tent State University national movement for the right to an education and a community organizer with the Community Empowerment Project, the organization that founded Tent State University. She is finishing up her B.A. in Women’s & Gender Studies and Psychology at Rutgers University where she works for the department of Sexual Assault Services as a member of the Domestic Violence Response Team and as a coordinator of SCREAM Theater, a traveling theater group that works against sexual and gender-based violence. A scholar at the Rutgers Institute for Women’s Leadership, Lena has worked with world-renowned feminist scholar and women's human rights activist, Charlotte Bunch, at the Center for Women’s Global Leadership. This REALLY hot world traveler spent the summer of 2004 living in Paris and studying French Literature, and the summer of 2005 traveling in Oaxaca, Mexico, Eastern Europe, and the Balkans region, building connections with organizers and social movements in those areas.
