What makes her REALLY hot? Jennifer has constantly on the cutting edge of gender issues in the media. When she was 22 she debated Bill O'Reilly on Fox News, standing up to broadcast news' biggest bully. An accomplished independent journalist and media critic, she founded Women In Media & News (WIMN) in 2002 to increase women's presence in the public debate. WIMN analyzes representations of women in media content; trains women's and social justice groups to hold media outlets accountable to the public interest; advocates for policy reform and structural change; and works with journalists to broaden the quantity and diversity of women's voices appearing in the media. Jennifer is in the process of organizing "WIMN's Voices: A Group Blog on Women, Media, AND...", a diverse online community of approximately 50 of the country's best women writers monitoring media coverage of current social, cultural and political issues from a progressive perspective.
